Stephanie Baker
A Comet of Two Tales,
That couldn’t run,
from the Sun.
We were in each others lives for many years.
Sometimes you’d go,
but always came back.
In those times,we talked more often than not.
Subliminal encouragement,
to look forward not back
In a minute, I heard Joy in your voice.
A light, an instant epiphany, determined to get on the right track
You’d then go on
to tell me your “sins”,
as if I were your priest.
Genuine Repentance is what you sought,
Yet,for you, perpetual strength
is All would seek
We last spoke in March, though Sooo many times prior.
You had “found” your Northstar,
Happy, Ready, to walk through fire.
Soon chatter & laughter,
are gagged from life’s sound,
You were once again lost
and I again waited,
to be found.
Your vision blurred, yet
You could see the “track”
Only this time your track
could not find its way back.
With so much love and gratitude,
for giving me the most Wonderful gift I could ever imagine. I’ll never forget standing, with my ear against the hospital door, and hearing Jacob’s first hello.
Thank you Stephanie, for asking me to be there with you & sharing a once in a lifetime experience.
That gift and You
will Always be Unforgettable xox
Love Always & Forever ~ Patricia
