Obituary of Carl Lee Senffner

Carl Lee Senffner

Age 72, of Channahon, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Morris Hospital. He was born in Joliet, the son of the late Anthony and Helen (Kozak) Senffner. He was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Lockport West High School with the Class of 1967. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University in 1971. Carl is a retired electrician and member of the Union Local 176. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Morris. Carl enjoyed golfing, hiking, playing his guitar, gardening, cooking, handyman projects and was always there to lend a helping hand. He was also an avid Chicago Bears and Blackhawks fan.

Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Audrey (Kedorski) Senffner of Channahon; two children, Kimberly (Peter) Stumpf of Bettendorf, IA and Nicholas (Andrea Hoff) Senffner of Lockport, IL; grandchildren, Lindsey, Mason, Jacob, Jackson, and Jasmine; one sister, Elaine (George) Corum of Mesa, AZ; nephews, Jimmy, Todd, John Paul, and Gill and one niece Erica.

Preceded by his parents and one brother, Roy Senffner.

Visitation for Carl Lee Senffner will be Friday, November 19, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1414 DuPont Avenue in Morris from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
