Debra A. Buttry

(nee Beal)

Age 62, of Verona, IL passed from this life Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.

She was born April 5, 1959, in Morris, IL to the late Betty (nee Walker) and Daniel Beal. Debbie was raised on the family farm in Verona and attended local schools, graduating with the class of 1977 from MVK High School.

She married David Buttry on June 25, 1977, and they farmed together for 41 years raising their family on the farm in Verona. Debbie wore many hats on the farm from operating the combine to helping with livestock. Debbie loved to sew and quilt. She absolutely adored her children and grandchildren. Debbie was an active member of New Community Christain Church and served on the MVK School Board in previous years. Debbie was a great cook and baker and loved to put together feasts and gather the family together.

In addition to Dave, her husband of 44 years, she is also survived by her 5 daughters, Beth (Nathan) Setzer, Valerie (Robert) Czech, Danielle (Eric) Roebuck, Brittany (Kyle) Buttry-Watson, and Zhenia Buttry; and 10 grandchildren: Navy, Boston, Jetton, Christopher, Leola, Greta, Thea, Tulla, Alister, and Edwin.

siblings, Darilyn Larsen, Daniel (Peter Perry) Beal, and Dana (Ronald) Bobinski as well as her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial at Ward Cemetery in Verona were held privately on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Debbie's name to Ward Cemetery Association would be appreciated.
