Edward Guardiola
Age 60, of Joliet, passed away suddenly, Friday, July 17, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center Emergency Room.
Ed worked for Kem-Lite in Channahon for 25 years as a color specialist. He will be long remembered for this devotion to his beloved Chicago Bears and his much adored grandchildren.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Nadine R. (nee Bilinski) Guardiola; five loving children, Jennifer (Brian) Granetzke, Ronald (Stephanie) Weissmann, Jason Weissmann, Amitrea (Jose DelRio) Bekteshi, and Anthony Guardiola; seven beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Hannah, Nathaniel, Emily, Isabella, Jacob and Veronica; seven brothers and sisters, Mary Lou (Pete) Morales, Enedina (Zeke) Salazar, Dora (Porfirio) Rivera, Rebecca (Robert) Pena, Samuel (Anita) Guardiola, Domingo (Matilda) Guardiola, Jr. and Jesus (Cindy) Guardiola; his wife's parents, Edward and Celeste Bilinski; two sisters-in-law, Charisse and Deneen Bilinski; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Susan Landando.
Preceded by his parents, Domingo and Maria (nee Garza) Guardiola; one sister, Theresa Balli; one brother, Robert Guardiola; and one sister-in-law, Gale T. Olszewski.
Funeral services for Edward Guardiola will be Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private. Visitation Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. at:
