Lynn M. Rogan

(nee Ruzon)

Age 69, of Plainfield, IL passed away peacefully, at home, Friday, December 3, 2021.  She was born on February 11, 1952 in Joliet, IL to the late Verna Mae and John Ruzon.  Lynn was a graduate of Providence High School.  She worked as the secretary at Lakewood Nursing Home in Plainfield for over 20 years.

She was very dedicated to her family and to her belief in God.

Lynn is the beloved wife of 49 years to John Rogan, Jr.; loving mother of John (Andrea) Rogan III, Michele Rogan and Jason (Lori) Rogan.  She is also survived by her grandchildren John IV, Aric, Austin, Owen, Elijah, Savanna, Sierra and Sophia; brothers, James (Dorothy) Ruzon, William (Elaine) Ruzon and Robert Ruzon; sisters, Joann (Bill) Heidle and MaryAnn (William) Haines.

A memorial visitation for Lynn M. Rogan will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet, from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Prayers will begin Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a procession to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Plainfield where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Facemasks and social distancing will be observed at the funeral home and church.  Inurnment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lynn’s name can be made to Lightways Hospice.
