Obituary of Suzanne O'Neil
Suzanne O’Neil (nee Seilhymer), age 74 of Plainfield, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. She was born in Danville, IL, the daughter of the late Fred and Lucille (nee Glaspy) Seilhymer and resided in Plainfield for the past 21 years. Suzanne graduated from Danville High School with the Class of 1963. She retired from the law office of Jump and Associates in Chicago. Suzanne loved reading, her family, and her canine companions.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, James O’Neil of Plainfield; two daughters, Lisa (Christopher) Reed of Pensacola, FL and Heather (Thomas) Krusinski of Plainfield; five sons, Terry (Kim) Graham of Homer, IL, Tim (Amanda) Graham of Covington, IN, Tony (Kim) Graham of Brownsburg, IN, Brian O’Neil of Phoenix, AZ and Christopher (Heather) Graham of Plainfield; grandchildren, Theresa and Nolan Plunkett, Alexis Schofield, Rich Little, Kye, Cole, Ava, Tyler, Morgan, Joey, Rachel, John, C.J., and Sawyer Graham; great-granddaughter, Haven Storm; two nieces, Amy Klahs and Lisa Metz.
Preceded by her parents and her brother, Stephen Seilhymer.
As it was Suzanne’s request, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet from 2:00 p.m. until Memorial Services at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Diabetes Association or Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue of Joliet would be appreciated.
