Obituary of Joyce M. Moon

Joyce M. Moon (nee Brady) age 84, of Winston-Salem, NC and formerly Ottawa, IL, passed from this life suddenly, Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Morris, IL.

She was born January 14, 1937, to the late Theresa (nee Hoffman) and James Brady in Wichita, KS where she was raised and educated. Joyce married Horace C. Moon in Wichita on October 12, 1956. Early on in their marriage, they traveled and settled in Ottawa, IL, eventually moving to Winston-Salem NC in 1974.

She is the beloved mother of Michael (Carol) Moon, Sharyn (Todd) Beadle, David Moon, and Peter Moon; loving and devoted grandmother of Matthew and Carolina Moon; Nicholas and Jacob Beadle; dearest aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Horace; her parents; and her siblings, Pat Brady, James Brady, Katherine Darrow, Robert Brady, and Diane Bliss.

As it was Joyce's wish cremation rites have been accorded and her final earthly remains will be interred in the Columbarium wall of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Winston-Salem at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fred C.
