George S. Lippner
Age 53, of Wilmington, IL and formerly Bourbonnais, IL passed from this life Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Evergreen Park, IL May 10, 1968, to the late Rosetta (nee Cavallone) and David Lippner. George was raised in Oak Lawn and graduated with the class of 1986 from St. Laurence High School.
He is the beloved father of Nikki (Mike) Browner, Mike Lippner, Sam Lippner, Amanda (Nick) McMurray and Jax Lippner; proud grandpa of Michael, Bella and Keely. Also surviving are his father, David Lippner; sister, Donna (Patrick) Hoban; brother, Jeffrey (Anna) Lippner and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his mother, Rosetta Lippner.
George was employed for many years at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL.
George was a hard worker, a loving father, and a supportive friend.
Visitation for George will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Facemasks and distancing will be observed.
As it was George’s wish cremation rites will be accorded.
