Robert J. Field
Age 59, passed away Wednesday January 5, 2022 at the Lightways Hospice Home of Joliet. He was born in Roselle, IL January 19, 1962 to Jude (Duffy) and Roswell Field. Bob was raised in Chicago and attended Kennedy High School.
He is survived by his family; son, Matthew; daughter, Amanda; two sisters, Jeri Petrosino and Jude Garcia; one brother, Richard (Theresa) Field; several nieces and nephews, including Michael and Misty Marroquin; Julie Field, Christopher and Nicholas Field; great-nephews, Michael Marroquin and James "Jimmy Jam" Cardenas.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jude (Duffy) and Roswell Field; two brothers, Rory and Steven Field.
Bob truly enjoyed working with his nephew the last 15 years at Salerno's Restaurant Bolingbrook. He was a hot rod enthusiast and a proud uncle and great-uncle.
His presence will be missed, however his family is now on a mission to "get the '69 Firebird rolling again!"
As it was Bob's wish cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Bob's life is being planned for a later date.
