Kristen L. Day, age 52, of Morris passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet. She was born and raised in Ottawa and resided in Morris for the past 30 years. Kristen graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1987. She was employed as a Hearing Aid Specialist with the Hearing Aid Shop in Ottawa, IL.

Survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Christopher Day of Morris; one daughter, Tiffany Day of Albuquerque, NM; her mother, Mary (Busch) Nelson of Ottawa; her father, Nels “Bill” Nelson of Ottawa; her sister, Susan (Ted) Kubinski of Ottawa and her brother, Scott (Jana) Nelson of Saline, MI and numerous nieces and nephews including Kristen Kubinski.

As it was Kristen’s request, cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements have been made under the direction of Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Morris.
