Obituary of Renata M. Zettek
Age 61 of Morris, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Morris Hospital. She was born in Albuquerque, NM, the daughter of the late Thomas and Katharina (Prost) Sandoval and resided in Morris most of her life. Renee graduated from Morris High School with the Class of 1978. During high school, she was most proud of being a cheerleader. Renee was the founder of the Pro-Life program at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a woman of strong faith and had a special devotion to the Virgin Mary through praying the rosary. Renee was a humanitarian at heart, she would always lend a hand to anyone in need.
She is survived by her children, Michael Enerson, Steve (Angel) Enerson, Christina (fiancé, Salvatore Evola) Zettek all of Morris; and, Cailey Zettek of Englewood, Co; grandchildren, Austin, Bryanna, and Jayden Enerson; her former husband and best friend, Darren Zettek of Morris; brother, Thomas Sandoval III of Rockford; her canine companions, Beastie Boy and Madison.
She was preceded by her parents and her first husband, Jerry Enerson (2020).
Visitation for Renee will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 (at Deerpath Dr.), Morris from 3-7 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 E. Jackson St., Morris, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
