Janine, Philip and Steve:
My condolences to you and your collective families on the passing of Bob.
Four years of college builds a friendship that, for many, lasts a lifetime. Three years being roommates creates a bond that transcends time.
Always the prankster, Bob brought a lot of laughter to our dorm for the years we lived on campus. When we first met, he was walking through the dorm vending area, high-stepping to his rendition of "Hello, Dolly".
A true friendship is one where two people can pick up where they left off, regardless of how much time has passed.
I appreciated the times you came to Phoenix and took time to connect with me. I recall spending time with him by phone when he was in Colorado, taking care of affairs upon the passing of his brother and sister, calling him every other day to make sure he was holding up.
He will always be in my heart as one of the brothers I always wish I had.
Excelsior, my friend.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing, yet I can only imagine the joy he is experiencing right now in his heavenly home. I remember him for his wonderful sense of humor as well as his kindness and compassion. When my father was dying in the hospital years ago, I ran into Pastor Bob in the cafeteria there. He was quick to offer support and prayer. May God comfort you during this difficult time. As Christians, we know that we will see him again and that parting is only temporary.

Dear Janine and family:
We were very sad to hear of Pastor Bob's passing. He was such a great guy and phenomenal teacher and leader. We always enjoyed when he led the Wednesday night Bible studies at JFA. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. You will be in our prayers for strength and comfort in the days ahead.
Love,
Hank & Jodi Weller

To the Hahn Family,
We'll really miss Pastor Bob. He'll be remembered most for his jokes & amazing TV trivia. I remember the times he'd come to the 60"s ministry dinners. Always a smile on his face and friendly handshake. I could never out joke or stump him on golden & silver age TV trivia no matter how hard I tried. Pastor Bob could always lead the group with the old time hymns.
We had no idea he had many years in the Minneapolis area. That's where Darlene & I met and married!
I know after he's met Jesus he'll be cracking jokes and making the saints laugh in heaven. I hope they're ready!!
God Bless you Janine, you are in our prayers but we can't wait 'till we see him again. Then I'll have the opportunity to try to out joke & beat him in TV trivia. Should be able to at least once since we'll have all eternity!
Ralph & Darlene Benway

Pastor Bob was very special to Conrad and Arlene Knauer. When my husband passed in 2013 pastor Bob graciously had a memorial for my Kenneth. He didn't know him but his sermon made us feel as if he did. When Arlene passed last year Connie knew to have Bob for her service. I enjoyed taking turns with my nieces taking him to the Morris Peace Chapel so we could hear his service. Janine always greated us warmly. Prayers for the family and church members.
