Ina M. McCune

Age 82, of Joliet, IL and formerly Farmersville, IL passed away suddenly Friday morning, January 28, 2022 at her home.

She was born September 21, 1939 to the late Emma (nee Cutter) and Leo Hobson in Farmersville where she was raised and educated, graduating from Farmersville High School with the class of 1957.

Ina is the beloved wife of 46 years to Charles McCune; loving mother of Daniel Frazier (Helen), Sheri (Joe) Martin and Dawn (Noel) Anama; dearest grandmother of Breanna Kalush, Lanora McCune, Hunter Anama and Madelynne Anama; proud great grandmother of Gabriel, Wesley, Zachary, Lyllien and Camden; fond sister of Ralph and George Hobson; cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Robert; her parents; and brothers, LeRoy, Charles, Norman, Robert, Thomas, Dale, Daryl and Carl.

Ina was employed for many years at the Distillery in Plainfield as well as in the cafeteria for the Plainfield School District.  She was an avid bowler at Town and Country Lanes in Joliet.

A Memorial visitation for Ina will be held Tuesday February 1, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet.
