Obituary of Eugene Audette

Eugene Audette "Gene" Age 88 of Romeoville, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his family by his side. Born May 6, 1922 in Bourbonnais, IL. Retired from Mutual of Omaha Insurance after 39 years. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years Christine (nee Byrne) Audette. His children Barbara (Randy) Giese of Waukesha, WI, Gerald "Jerry" (Lynne) Audette and Kenneth (Tom Wilson) Audette. Grandchildren Brian and Tim Cone of Waukesha, WI and Madison Audette. Brother Raymond (Lucille) Audette and sister Claire (the late Arthur) Strawson and many relatives and friends also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Omer and Elizabeth Audette and brother Paul Audette. Funeral services for Gene Audette will be Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 5 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Memorials to the National Parkinson Foundation in his name would be appreciated. Cremation rites will be accorded following funeral services.
