Robert C. Hainline "Bob" Age 89. Thursday, September 11, 2008 at his late residence in Wilmington. Born in New Sharon, IA; formerly of Horseshoe Bend, AR, and Bourbonnais, IL, he lived most of his life in Joliet. A United States Army Veteran of WWII (Field Artillery and Military Police) serving in the African, Middle Eastern and European Theaters. Retired in 1982 from Clark Equipment in Chicago. Formerly employed at the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant and Rockwell Standard Plant. Member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Wilmington V.F.W and former member of Stone City Post VFW #2199. Survived by three children, Shirley Mae (Ernest) Fredericks of Braceville, Robert E. (Renee) Hainline of Joliet and Ronald (Linda) Hainline of Wilmington; ten grandchildren, Donald, Ronald, David, Michael, Cheryl, Debbie, Ron Jr., Jason, Brian and Connie. Numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as three sisters-in-law, Ann Maddaus, Mildred Fiday and Phyllis Rapcan also survive. He will also be missed by his best buddy "Babe". Preceded in death by his wife, Mary (nee Rapcan) Hainline (July 19, 2000); parents, Roy and Edith (nee Shadley) Hainline; two brothers, Ken and Glenn; three sisters, Donna, Shirley and Ruth. Bob, the patriarch of his family, went home to his Lord and his beloved wife, and other loved ones whom he knew were awaiting his arrival. We love you dad; you'll always be in our hearts and minds until we are all together once again. Funeral Services for Robert C. Hainline will be Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 11:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Bernard Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon. Interment Ss. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses or memorials in his name to St. Bernard Parish would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
