Claudio Lopez, Jr.           

Age 45, of Joliet, IL passed away Friday evening March 25, 2022 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL.  He was born March 12, 1977 in Chicago to Maria (Mojica) and Claudio Lopez in Chicago, IL.  He was raised in Joliet.

He is the beloved father of Nikolas Claudio Holland and Gabriella Lopez; loving son of Maria and Claudio; dearest brother of Marisela Aldava, Blanca Lopez, Lucina (Carlos) Guzman, Christina (Roger) Mejia and Alberto (Elizabeth) Lopez; fond uncle of Alejandro, Miguel, Aaron, Angel, Hector, Victor, Isella, Manuel, Adriano, Nicolas and Ariana.  Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Visitation for Claudio will be Tuesday March 29, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet.  Funeral services will begin Wednesday morning 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 205 E. Jackson St. Joliet, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet.
