Estee Hall, Jr.
"The Captain"
Age 73, of Joliet, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Beloved husband of 15 years to Deena; also survived by his mother, Sallie Roundtree; two sons, Earl and Gregory Hall; five stepchildren, Petra, Torrence, Lavele, Tanisha and Desiree; three grandchildren; and many stepgrandchildren and step-great-granchildren; two special nieces, Rhonda Warren and Lori Wash; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Preceded in death by his father, Estee, Sr.; and one brother, Julius Hall.
He retired in 1989 from Stateville Correctional Center where he was known as the Captain. A United States Army veteran. Member of the Elks Ft. Erie Lodge #167 since 1994 where he held several offices. Owner of Estee's Lounge in Joliet for 15 years. He was a community minded person who ran for Councilman and was an advocate for improving and making things better throughout the community.
Funeral Services for Estee Hall, Jr. will be Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Oakland Memory Lanes in Dolton, IL. Visitation FRIDAY MORNING 10:00 a.m. until time of services at:
