I have waited to do this because I just can't stand that he is gone, however I'm so happy for Ronnie because I know in my heart he fought to the bitter end and God has him in his arms. He is no longer in pain, he was one of the toughest men I ever knew, anyone lucky enough to know him may not know it but they were blessed. I've known him 50 plus years but when I would get the chance to see him, he was always that guy I met 50 years ago, funny, loyal, not a mean streak in him. I know he loved Alicia because I was there when it all started with those two. He loved family and adored his kids, they made him so proud. so since my words are flowing my heart is hurting. I loved him dearly. Alicia and the kids, grands and family my deepest sincere thoughts are with you, may God Bless.

We loved Uncle Ron very much! I often think of the times in the summer that I spent with Aunt Alicia and Uncle Ron. He was so funny, and made us laugh! Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole Blackwell Family during this very difficult time! We love you all!
May God grant a peace that passes all understanding!
Much love,
