Theresa Halweg
(nee Ulisse)

Theresa Halweg, passed away peacefully at the age of 92, on Saturday, April 9, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family.  Theresa was born in Joliet on October 17, 1929, the daughter of the late Luigi and Louisa (nee Lamana) Ulisse, and was a lifelong resident.  She attended Joliet Junior College and was an active parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus.  Theresa enjoyed her career as a beautician, always making her clients beautiful.

Theresa is survived by her son, Robert C. (LeeAnn) Halweg; grandchildren, Leah (Marty) Jerome, Nicole (Robert) Roberson, Shannon Halweg, and Tyler Halweg; great grandchildren, Bianca Roberson, Adeline Roberson, and Anna Jerome; and her daughter-in-law, Debra Halweg.  Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

She is preceded by her loving husband, Robert L. Halweg; her son, Steven D. Halweg; her parents; one brother, Theodore Ulissey; and her sister, Gloria Reubart.
