Obituary of Nathan Allen Wolf
Nathan Allen Wolf, age 18, of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at home.
Born November 4, 2003 in Joliet, he was the son of Shannon and Konstantina (Greminger) Wolf. Nathan was a Senior at Joliet Central High School, where he was an honor student and an active member of the Army JROTC program with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He has just recently enlisted in the United States Army to begin his military service on June 14, 2022.
An accomplished and skilled martial artist, he was a 3rd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, and a 1st degree Black Belt in Combat Hapkido. Nathan loved being an instructor at TM Martial Arts in Joliet, and his students idolized him.
Nathan was a loving and devoted son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who will never be forgotten. Nathan was a talented artist who loved to draw, and was also an animal lover. His beloved dog, Nuggets, was his best pal. Nathan was good at everything he did, and will be remembered for his quiet personality, his intelligence, and for being a good kid.
Nathan is survived by his loving parents, Shannon and Tina; his brother, Nolan; grandparents, Dennis R. Greminger, Sr. of Maynardville, TN, Mary B. Greminger of Joliet, and Terry and Karen Scheer of Harrisburg, IL; great-grandparents, Thomas and Konstantina Gogerty; special aunt, Tiffany Greminger and Tase Thompson; aunts and uncles, Jessica and Derrick Kawa, Dennis Greminger, Jr., Colton Sheer, Nancy and Jesse Flores and Terry Hassenfus; four cousins, Liliana, Olivine, Karissa amd Lauren; and many friends extended family members.
Visitation for Nathan Wolf will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, Joliet. A funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following services and interment will be private.
