Marilyn J. Brown, of Crest Hill, passed away at the age of 91, on Tuesday, April 27, 2022, at St. Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her daughter. She was born in 1931 and was the daughter of the late Norman and Edith (nee Wharrie) Brown.  Marilyn retired from Mobile Chemical Company as Employee Relations Administrator after 25 years of dedicated service.   

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Janet Brown; and one brother, Warren Brown.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded by her loving husband, Leroy Brown; her parents; brother, Norman R. (Mary) Brown; brother-in-law, William R. (Geraldine) Brown; and sister-in-law, Ruth (Earl) Allen.

As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no visitation.  Services will be held privately by the family at a later date.
