Obituary of Karen Buck

Karen Buck (nee Kazawitch), age 61, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022.  She was a long time resident of Chicago and graduated from St. Xavier University to follow her dream of Nursing. Her life was spent taking care of her family in any way she could help. She loved spending time with her family and friends, cheering for “Da Bears” and most of all enjoying her coffee. 

She was the loving wife of 43 years to Paul Buck; the best "Ma" to Natalie (J.R.) Kovir, Kristen (Peter) Adamiak and Brian Buck; dear sister of Cynthia Kazawitch and Anthony Kazawitch; proud Grandma of Brooke, Isaiah, Elise, Vanessa, Elijah and Lila. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathy and Karl Kazawitch.

Funeral Services for Karen Buck will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL. Family and friends are invited to meet for interment at 12:30 p.m., at St. Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
