Obituary of Ronald J. Erickson

Ronald J. Erickson, age 76, passed away at his home in Channahon on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Ronald was born on December 12, 1945, in Joliet at the old St. Joseph’s Hospital to the late Roger W. and Myrtle Erickson. He was raised in Plainfield, a graduate of Plainfield High School class of ’64, but he had resided in Channahon for the past 30 years. He worked in Chicago for International Tool & Engineering and the Central Can Company until retiring in 2011.
Ronald is survived by his sons, Roger (Shannon) Erickson of Newark, Brian (Bridget) Erickson of La Grange; and his grandchildren, Caroline Erickson and Luke Erickson.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine “Susie” Erickson; his parents; and a brother, William Roger Erickson.
