Obituary of Renee M. Elliott

Renee M. Elliott, age 58, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet on Monday, May 16, 2022. Renee was born on August 18, 1963, in Chicago to the late Ray and Rosemary Blizek. Formerly of Burbank, Renee and her husband had resided in Minooka for the past 18 years.  She worked as an insurance agent, but her main role was as wife and mother. Renee deeply cherished spending time with her family and found great joy in hosting and attending gatherings with her loved ones. 

Renee is survived by her loving husband of over 20 years, Michael Elliott; her children, Jaclyn (Keith) Minor, Joseph Popovich, and Christine Elliott; her grandchildren, Laila Brady, Bella Brady, and Kace Minor; sisters Sue and Debbie Blizek;  brother Ray (Sylvia) Blizek; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

All friends and relatives are invited to join in the celebration of the life of an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, Morris with services at 3:00 p.m. and visitation from the end of services until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
