Virginia C. Madden
(nee Ruscitti)

Virginia C. Madden, passed away peacefully at the age of 87, at her home in Joliet, surrounded by the love of her family.  Virginia was born in Chicago, IL on October 22, 1934, the daughter of the late Attivo and Natalina Ruscitti.  

Virginia enjoyed cooking any and all Italian cuisine, baking for her loved ones, playing bingo, and shopping.  She was the heart of her family and loved spending time with her grandkids.  She will be missed by all who loved her.
        
Virginia is survived by her son, John W. (Tamie) Madden, Jr.; daughter, Sharon (Tom) Fennewald; grandchildren, Bryan Madden and Melissa Donchez; and great-granddaughter, Aubrei Powell. 

She is preceded by her loving husband, John W. Madden, Sr.; her parents; one brother, Daniel Ruscitti; and her sister, Irene Vallera.

Visitation for Virginia C. Madden will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of chapel prayers at 11:00 a.m.

Family and friends are invited to meet directly at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W 111th St., Alsip, IL, for committal services at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
