Obituary of Shirley M. Krzich

 Age 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the Grand Haven Retirement Community in Eldridge, IA. Born December 23, 1926 in Joliet to the late Joseph and Antoinette (Kirincich) Fazio, she was a lifelong area resident before retiring to Eldridge, IA in February 2008. Shirley's greatest love in life was spending time with her family, and especially babysitting those great-grandchildren.

 Survived by two daughters, Peggy Pearce of Joliet and JoLynn (Al) Pawloski of Long Grove, IA; one son, Frank Kerzic of Bettendorf, IA; five grandchildren, Chris (Angie) Pearce, Kevin Pearce, Alan (Tania) Pearce, Jason (Jennifer) Pawloski, and Amy (Ryan) Lage; seven great-grandchildren, Bob, Allison, Danny, Michael, Lauren, Carson, and Kristen; special cousins, Bill and Verna Nurczyk; numerous nieces and nephews.

 Preceded in death by her loving husband Frank (April 28, 2021); parents; aunts and uncles, including special aunts, Anna Kirincich and Catherine Nurczyk.

 Funeral Services for Shirley M. Krzich will be celebrated at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church on Thursday, June 9, 2022 where she will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow Resurrection Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
