Obituary of Rita D. Henderson
Rita Diane Henderson was born on December 22, 1949, in Morris, to John and Helen (Rutten) Barry. Rita passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet. She graduated from Morris High School, Class of 1967.
She is survived by her children, Eric and Crystal Henderson, Rebecca Clubb; granddaughter, Breanna Henderson; great-granddaughter, Leia Henderson; partner, James Peterson; brothers, James and Gail Barry, Robert and Nancy Barry; sisters-in-law, Carol Barry, and Janice Harmeyer; Godmother, Irene Esser, and many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack and Doug Barry, and brother-in-law, William Harmeyer.
Rita was a retired beautician for fifty years. She will be missed by family and friends.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Mass Saturday, June 18, 2022at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 600 E. Jackson Street, Morris. Her final earthly remains will be interred at Mt. Carmel Cemetery following Mass.
