Obituary of Thomas Hannon

Hannon, Thomas James Age 66, of Shorewood, formerly of Des Plaines, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his family by his side. Born January 1, 1946 in Chicago to the late John M. and Virginia (nee Cunningham) Hannon. Graduated with a Bachelor's of Science & Education from NIU in 1968. In 1977 he founded Hannon & Associates, which he served as President for over thirty years. Longtime parishioner of the Church of St. Jude. He enjoyed sailing, skiing, and snowmobiling, but most of all spending time with his family throughout the years. Thomas is survived by his wife Janet Lord Hannon; his children, James, Jared and Jordan Hannon; their mother and his former wife Roberta Hannon; his brother John (Pam) Hannon; his sister, Sr. Mary Hannon; and brother-in-law Jim Lefebure. Preceded by his parents and sister, Kathy Lefebure. Funeral services for Thomas Hannon will be Monday, March 26, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home chapel, 3200 Black Road, Joliet, to the Church of St. Jude, Joliet, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
