Obituary of Derek Hansen

Hansen, Derek James Derek James Hansen, 20 months, of Griffith, IN, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on February 17, 2011. Born June 30, 2009 in Joliet. Derek is survived by his parents, Victoria L. (McGarvey-Fields) Hansen and Donald J. Hansen; his little brother, Samuel D. Hansen; maternal grandparents, Kathleen Fields and Thomas (Tonia) McGarvey; paternal grandparents, Donald W. Hansen and Jessie R. Hansen; great-grandparents, Larry L. Fields; Kurt and Lena Kotalik, and Lenora Hansen; great-great-grandmother, Jacqueline Perrello; several aunts, uncles, and cousins including William, Julianne, Cody and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Donald Lee Hansen; and great-uncle, James David Hansen. Derek added so much love and sunshine to all around him. He is held in Heaven by those we lost before him. Funeral Services for Derek James Hansen will be Friday, February 25, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
