I'm writing this with tears in my eyes so if I have a typo please forgive me. I first met Tim in May of 2021 when my son started pitching for the Slammers. From the moment I met Tim I loved him. He was genuine and kind. We went to all the games and when we got to the gate it was a handshake and a hug. Between innings I would go down the stairs to hang out with Tim and talk baseball. I knew his dad played in the bigs but when Tim started throwing out names like Willie Mays and Willie McCovey I was like, are you kidding me. And Tim told told me his dad was the catcher for Juan Marichial. Tim would always come up the stairs before the 8th to see if my son was in the pen and waited to watch him pitch. Tim told me about the procedure he needed so when he wasn't at the gate I didn't care about the game, I was worried about my friend. If I get to Heaven my friend, we will resume our baseball talks. God Bless your family.

Tim was a gem! I had the pleasure of working with him at the cemetery. Whenever he would visit or after a chapel service, we would sit and talk in my office for what seemed like hours. He always had a kind or encouraging word, smile, or spiritual advice. Tim has helped many families in need with their final committals, who otherwise did not have clergy. Regardless if he knew them or not, he honored their lives as if they were his own family. All I had to do was call and he was there! God places people in your life for a reason and although short, I am grateful to have encountered Tim in mine. I am truly going to miss his beautiful spirit! Heartfelt condolences from my entire family.

I mourn Tim's death. He and Kenny Miller were my baseball trivia rivals at Slammers' game over the last five years. Tim was cordial, kind, and genuine. God bless.

It was a pure joy to have Tim work for the Slammers. He was always upbeat and positive, and could bring a smile to your face in an instant. When I took a new job this summer, Tim made sure to stop by the stadium during my last days there to wish me luck. I came back to the last game of the year and Tim sought me out to say hi and give me a hug. I'm so glad I got to see him that night. Having known his uncle Bill for many years, I always enjoyed giving Tim a hard time about his ability to carry on a conversation with anyone about anything.
Tim you'll be missed. Condolences to all your family and friends.

Timmy and I played little league baseball together as kids, and you couldn't ask for a better teammate. He played second base, and I dug out his low throws at first. I've told this story a hundred times already: About 15 years ago, I got a phone call from Timmy. "Sully, you'll never guess where I am. I'm sitting in your dad's chair." My dad, who passed about a decade before, was a mortician. "God, Timmy, I'm so sorry. Who died?" Timmy responded, "No, I work here now as a mortician." That revelation took my breath away. My family was so grateful to know that Timmy had found strength in his faith and heeded the call to service. And that's the lasting memory I will have of him: a fun kid to have known while growing up, and an amazing man who listened to his heart and helped others in their time of need. Godspeed, Timothy J. Haller. You were one in a million!
