Obituary of Elizabeth Waters

Elizabeth Waters, lovingly known as Lisa by family and friends, age 44, of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Rush-Copley Medical Center, Aurora, with her loving family by her side.

Born November 5, 1977, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Jesus and Juana (Barajas) Díaz.  She graduated from Steinmetz High School and continued her education at Triton College.  Lisa was an EMTB, she and her husband, Tamaine, owned and operated Mobile Health and Testing Services.

Lisa and Tamaine met in high school at age 15, were high school sweethearts, and soul mates throughout their 22 years of marriage. She was a great wife and even a better mother.  She lived for her children; they were her everything and her highest priority.

Lisa also loved to travel and savored every moment spent on the beach and near the water.  She tried to make the best experience out of every family activity and adventure.

She will be remembered for her big brown eyes, rosy cheeks, dazzling smile, and beautiful hair.  Her pure presence, heart of gold, and genuine work ethic will never be forgotten.  Her passing is a tremendous loss to all those who loved and cared for her, and no one will ever be able to take her place.

Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Tamaine Waters; her adoring children, Adriana, A. J., Natalie, and Nicholas; her loving parents, Jesus and Juana Díaz; three fond brothers, Eduardo Díaz, Jesus Díaz, Jr., and Daniel (wife Angie) Díaz; one dear nephew, Antonio Díaz; and mother-in-law Felicia Fisher, niece Eboné, sister-in-law Tameka Waters and the rest of the Waters family.
