Frances Williamson

 
Age 89, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side.  She was born in Joliet, IL on May 31, 1933 and was a lifelong Joliet area resident.  

She was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a woman of strong Christian faith and had the sweetest disposition.  She will be remembered for her selfless ways and always thinking of others.
 
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Woodcock of Joliet, Sandra Strezo of Minooka, and Laura (Robert) McCarthy of Joliet; six grandchildren, Adam (Harmony) Woodcock; Robert, Justin, and Jacob (Kierstynn) Strezo; Jessica and Rachel McCarthy; two great-grandsons, Logan and Maxwell Woodcock; and one sister in-law, Betty (late William) Ball of Joliet. 

Preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, James Williamson; her parents, Anna (Sicinski) and John Peppard and her brother, James Peppard.

Private funeral services for Frances Williamson were held.  Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org
