Obituary of James Harris

James Robert Harris Age 46. Passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born January 8, 1962 in Grafton, W.V.., he was a lifetime resident of Shorewood, IL. Attended Troy Schools and Joliet West High School. Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mabel (Cox) Harris; one brother, Cecil Paul, Jr.; brother-in-law, Chuck Polson; maternal grandparents, Ira and Edith Cox; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Bernice Harris. Survived by his sisters, Vickie Polson and Tammy (Charles) Hill; niece and nephews, Kelly, Tanner, Paul, Chuck Jr., and Ed; three great-nieces; four great-nephews; daughter, Tonya Harris; four grandchildren, Alysaa, Holley, Ricky and Robert Kelly; aunts, uncles and many cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 455 W. Southmor Road in Morris, IL. Pastor Ron Taylor will officiate. Arrangements by: FRED C.
