Obituary of Norma Stone

Age 94, of Frankfort, IL and formerly of Glenwood, IL passed peacefully at home, Saturday evening, September 10, 2022.

She was born on November 18, 1927 in Chicago, IL and was raised in the Englewood neighborhood.

Norma is the beloved wife of the late Abner “Jack” Stone; loving mother of Art (the late Janice), Marty (Jan) and Ron (Gabrielle) Stone.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Steve (Kim), Brian (Rosa), Jeffrey , Rachel (Erin), Sarah (Cal) DeBouvre and Dan (Louella ); great grandchildren, Caleb, Bella, Blake and Clark.

A Memorial Service for Norma Stone will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Joliet Jewish Congregation, 250 N. Midland Avenue in Joliet, IL where all friends and relatives can gather from 10:30 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m.

Shiva, a remembrance gathering, that all friends and family are welcome to attend, will be held at the home of Marty and Jan Stone, Friday, following the memorial service until 7:00pm and Saturday , September 17th  from  7:00 – 9:00 PM. It will continue on Sunday, September 18th, from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at the home of Ron and Gabrielle Stone.

Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
