Obituary of Robert John Sutton
Robert John Sutton
Robert John Sutton, of Joliet, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57, on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. He was born on November 2, 1964 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Victor Vito and Josephine (nee Dudek) Sutton. Bob grew up in Romeoville, IL and was a graduate of Romeoville High School. He was currently employed as a truck driver with Shamrock Trucking Company.
Bob was a great father and has been described as the heart of the family. He enjoyed spending his down time on his Harley, shooting pool, playing bags, and unwinding from a long day with a shot of Tequila and a Corona! He even created his own sanctuary in his garage which was the hangout for family and friends and became famously known as, “Bob’s Bar”. Bob also enjoyed traveling and spending time near the ocean. The sudden loss of this incredible man will leave a void in the hearts of all who loved him; his legacy will live on in the lives of his children and grandchildren
Bob is survived by his loving wife of three years, Julie A. (nee Zeiger) Sutton; his five daughters, Kristina (Terry Frost) Sutton, Laura Sutton, Brittany (Jeremy Castelli, Sr.) Aguilar, Roxane (William, Jr.) Grossklaus, and Katie (DeeMarces Hester) Sutton; his nine grandchildren, Chloe, Anthony, Aryanna, Skyler, Madison, Haven, Ayden, Viviana, and Nevaeh; his siblings, Jerry Sutton, Ronald (Shirley) Sutton, Diane Mendoza, Debbie (Jerry) Saribia, and Cynthia (Mike) Zauner; and the mother of his children, Monica Sutton.
