Obituary of Clara Hartnett

Clara June Hartnett (nee Smith) Age 89. At rest Monday, May 10, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Piedmont, MO to the late Harrison and Opal Smith, she was a resident of Joliet for over 65 years. Member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and Trinity Services Family and Friends. Survived by her daughter, Denise Hartnett of Joliet; three grandchildren, Ed (Jenny) Hartnett of Elmwood Park, Jeff Hartnett of Joliet and Tom Hartnett of Shorewood; one sister, Hazel (late Warren) Brewer of Delavan, WI; one brother, Norman (late Amy) Smith of Arnold, MO; her daughter-in-law, Mary Anne Hartnett of Joliet; devoted caregivers, Jolene Hoskins and Josephine Solner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Hartnett (1991); stepson, Tom Hartnett (1993); one sister, Kathryn Pischon and two brothers, Curtis and Elmer Smith. Funeral Services for Clara June Hartnett will be Friday, May 14, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
