Judith Beal

Obituary of Judith Marie Beal

Judith Marie Beal, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet. Born October 9, 1942 in Joliet to the late Albert and Veronica Hylka, Judy attended St. Mary's Carmelite Grade School and St. Francis Academy, where she was a member of the book club. She was also a member of the Joliet Quilters Club. On October 12, 1963, Judy married Glen "Gunner" Beal and the two celebrated 41 years of marriage before his passing in 2005.  While the family grieves Judy's passing, they are comforted knowing that she is spending her 80th birthday reunited with Glen.

Judy's main calling in life was the care and upbringing of her family, but she also cherished her time spent with the children she helped as a bus monitor for Ryder Transportation Services.

Judy is survived by her children, son William (Sue) Beal and daughter Robyn (Gary) Feldner. She was also the devoted and loving grandmother of Madison and Chase Feldner, and the late Cameron and Gunner Beal. She is survived as well by her sister, Mary (Melvin) Holm, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their thanks for the professional and loving care Judy received from Arcadia Care of Morris, Morris Hospital, and Lightways Hospice.
