"Dee"
Age 86, a 10 year Channahon resident, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, after an extended series of illnesses.
Born in Cullman, Alabama on August 26, 1925 to the late Minnie and T. Herschel Willoughby, she had resided in Romeoville and Lockport for over 55 years. Dee waitressed for many years at White Fence Farm, Colonial Steakhouse, The Clocktower and AL's Steakhouse. She was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed gardening.
Beloved wife of 35 years to Fred Havrilla; loving mother of Donna (Joe) Cockroft, Darrell (late Joyce) Hopkins, the late Michael (Gaye) Hopkins, Jeffery (Kim) Hopkins, Debbie Eungard and Dianne (Mike) Kitrall. Dearest grandmother of Chris and Chad; David and Angela; Brooke, Cortnye and the late Michael Brian; Karli and Jacob; Ben and Adam; Callie, James and Claire. Proud great grandmother of 11. Fond sister of Clarence (Florence) Willoughby and Edward (Shirley) Willoughby. Several nieces, nephews and many dear friends also survive.
Funeral Services for Dee Havrilla will be Saturday, April 21, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Ronald McDonald House, Chicago, or Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated. Visitation Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m. until services begin at:
