Freda was such a beautiful soul and we wish to express our heartfelt sympathy to the Lott family. She will always be a memory in my heart as she so generously gave of herself and was there for me when I needed her and went beyond what I could have asked for.

Unfortunately, we don't realize how much we love and appreciate those in our lives until they are suddenly taken from us. Those of us who worked at the PARC with Freda are still trying to wrap our hearts and minds around the fact that she is gone. We spent many hours enjoying her company and talking about our lives and families. She was so very proud of all of you and she spoke of your talents and all the good times with you. Please just know that we love her and will miss her and hope that in time your pain will lessen. She wouldn't want you to hurt for long. She would want you to feel better. Because she loves you.

My dear auntie,
I want to start with I love you. I’ve been contemplating on the words to say. I gave you your flowers while you here. I made sure to let you know how much I loved & appreciated you every chance I could. I appreciate you for all your times your arms & doors we’re open for my siblings and I. You provided a safe haven for me that I’ll never forget. Thank you for all the times you left your door open (literally), I knew I could come to you. Thank you. I’ll never forget your compassion and the sense of comfort I felt whenever I’m around you. I wish I could pop in on you one more time, while you’re watching tv or reading one of your books. My Freda, I’m hurt. I don’t want you to rest in peace. I want you here in the flesh with (us) your family. I love you lady. I know you’re stepping with God. I know you’re resting in his arms my queen. I love you.
