Obituary of Dennis Bodemuller

Dennis Bodemuller, age 58, of Joliet, IL passed from this life suddenly, Friday November 18, 2022. 

He was born October 21, 1964 to the late Vernadine (nee Miles) and Herman C. Bodemuller Sr. in Joliet, where he was raised and educated, and was a graduate of Joliet West High School, Class of 1982.

He is the beloved father of Megan (Forde) Bodemuller, Michael (Susie) Bodemuller, and Ashley Bodemuller.

He is “Grandpa D” to his beloved grandchildren, Damon, Owen, Olivia and Hallie Bodemuller.  He is also survived by his nephews, Carl Wayne and Robert Bodemuller, and many loving friends.
 
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Carl, Gary (Sally), and Janie Bodemuller; and a great-niece, Samantha Bodemuller.
 
He was employed as a technician at Allways Precision for the past 13 years.

Dennis had a love for life and good times!  His best times were had enjoying a White Sox, Bears or Blackhawks game, going to demos, playing darts, and scaring the staff at Halloween haunted houses.  Dennis lived his life in the moment and his smile and laugh will be missed by many, especially by his good friends at Instant Replay.

As it was Dennis’ wish, cremation rites have been accorded.  All friends and relatives are invited to gather at The Church of Good Shepherd, 2437 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon.   Immediately following, friends and relatives are invited to Instant Replay in Joliet, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., for a farewell cheers to Dennis. Wear your favorite sports jersey to celebrate our friend and father!
