Shirley Mae Pearson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at The Home Care Advantage in Batavia, at the age of 86.  Shirley was born on October 10, 1936 in Marion, IL, the daughter of the late Guy and Mabel (nee Kendall) Groves.  She married John E. Pearson on December 24, 1951, and together they raised a beautiful family.

Shirley is survived by her four daughters, Nancy, (Dan) Stoddard, Sandra (Leo) Winkels, Patricia (Rick) Hocraffer, and Jenny (Tom) Schubert; one son, John J. Pearson; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Laura, Heather, Bryant, Stefanie, Brian, Eric, Justin, and Natalie; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Chase, and Isabella; and her sister, Janie Owens.  

She is preceded by husband, John E. Pearson; her parents; and two sisters, Betty and Louise.

Funeral Services and interment for Shirley Mae Pearson will take place at 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel.
