Obituary of Joseph Heintz
Joseph Leo Heintz
Age 81, of Wilmington and formerly of Crest Hill, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Morris Hospital. He was a superintendent with Olin Chemical, retiring after 31 years of service. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Member of Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City, the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300, and the American Legion Post #1080.
Survived by four children, Toni Marie (John W.) Baudino-Johnsen of Morris, Jo Ann (Frank) Flink of Crest Hill, Gerald J. (Tari) Heintz of Plainfield, and Michael Anthony (Israel Cintron) Heintz of Chicago; two sisters, Virginia (late Curt) Moore, and Ann (late Jim) Ashbrook; nine grandchildren, John Christopher (Scott Clay) Johnsen, Joseph (Jessica) Kranz, Christina (Lowell) Stanton, Raymond (Brianne) Flink, Michael (Jessica) Flink, Janile (Leland) Day, Eric (Jennifer) Heintz, Erika Heintz, and Magen Heintz; 11 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary and Elizabeth Stanton; Vincent and Frank Flink; Travis Kranz; Carter, Reid, and Kara Day; Eli and Chloe Heintz; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Gualdoni and Loretta Cambruzzi; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dear friend, Rose Torres.
Preceded in death by his wife, Corrine (nee Cambruzzi) Heintz; parents, Raymond and Mary (nee Milavec) Heintz; two sisters, Marie Anderson, and Geraldine Boley; two brothers, Raymond Heintz, and Richard Heintz.
Funeral Services for Joseph Leo Heintz will be Monday, December 20, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Catholic Church, Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
