Obituary of James Helbling

James W. Helbling Age 75, late of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Born in Joliet, he was a long time Joliet area resident. A United States Army Veteran. He retired from Amoco Chemical Trucking. He was an antique car enthusiast, and enjoyed playing the accordion. Survived by his children, Pamela (Chris) Newman-Morley of Joliet, Phyllis (Richard) Thibault of Winter Garden, FL, Paula (Jim) Anderson of Plainfield, Philip (Michele) Bonacorsi of Lockport and Barbara (Ray) Hensley of Plainfield; nine grandchildren, Sarah and Katie Newman; Mathias Thibault of Winter Garden, FL; Ashley, Alex and Adam Anderson of Plainfield; Carmen and Rocco Bonacorsi of Lockport; and Austin Hensley of Plainfield; two sisters, Phyllis (late George) Sefcik of Joliet and Betty (late Homer) Givenrod; one nephew, George Sefcik of Joliet; one cousin, Dave (Elenor) Murphy of Joliet; special friend, Marie Rush and her family; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Alta (nee Murphy) Helbling; one brother, Joseph Helbling; one sister, Ida Smith. Funeral Services for James W. Helbling will be Monday, April 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. George Klima officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
