Obituary of Dawn M. Disera

Dawn M. Disera, age 72, passed from this life Saturday, December 31, 2022 at her home after a lengthy illness. Dawn was born in Joliet, July 21, 1950 and remained in Joliet and Plainfield, IL for the majority of her life. Dawn was a dedicated Registered Nurse for 30 years. She lived for and loved her family. Sweet memories of her will live on through her loved ones, as she will live on in Heaven.

Dawn is survived by her husband of 51 years, John M. Disera; three children, Amy (Jamison) Zupancic, Michael (Jennifer) Disera and Lisa (Jason) Szatkowski; two beloved grandsons, Clayton and Mason Beggs; four precious granddaughters, Madison and Maci Disera, Willow Szatkowski and Olivia Zupancic; her brother, Bruce (Sharon) Sheridan; as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all, including her dog and constant companion, Gracie.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy (Delary) and Lester Sheridan.

Per her request, cremation rites have been accorded. A private memorial service to honor the life of Dawn has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, Joliet.
