Obituary of Don B. Ruettiger

Don B. Ruettiger, loving husband of Rose (nee Lewandowski-Spitzl), beloved father of Kevin (Janet), Ryan (Rachel), and Joe; grandfather of Kaylee, Henry, and Aurora. Loving brother of Bonnie Franciskovich (the late Ron) and brother-in-law of Bill Kelly. Many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Marge Ruettiger.

Member of St. Mary, Minooka, and St. Ann, Channahon parishes.  Don was also a member of St. Ann Knights of Columbus and Fishers of Men as well as the Teamsters Local 179.  He recently retired from Stepan Company, Millsdale after over 40 years of service.

Visitation for Don will be Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Route 6 (at Deerpath Drive) Morris.  Funeral services Saturday, January 14, 2023, from the funeral home to St. Mary Catholic Church in Minooka where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the Poor Clares Annunciation Monastery, 6200 E. Minooka Rd, Minooka, IL 60447 would be appreciated.
