Obituary of Edward Arthur Walker
Edward Arthur Walker, age 69, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Edward was born November 25, 1953 in Denver, CO. He was born to Velma Elizabeth Carothers and Arbie Lee Walker.
Edward was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and worked many years in the auto sales industry, first as a salesman and later as a finance manager. Edward perfected cooking and was a chef in his later years.
He will be remembered as a kind, generous, caring and loving man who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, James M. Walker. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Kirsten (Cline) Walker; siblings, Deborah Ford-Williams, Angie Clifton, and Victor Clifton; children, Edward Walker Jr., Pamela, Brett, John, Sarah and Elizabeth; and grandchildren, Jay, Tyson, Andrew, Lillian and Sebastian.
A memorial celebration for Edward will be held Saturday March 25, 2023 at 11:45 a.m., in the Community Room of Hope Manor Joliet, 1331 Eagle Street, Joliet, IL 60432, and will be followed by a repast.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment will be at a later date in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
