Obituary of Dorothy J. Seeman
Dorothy J. Seeman, age 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at River Crossing of Joliet. She was born in Shawneetown, IL, and was a longtime resident of Joliet. Dorothy was a Member of the Joliet Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Revels, Brenda (Randy) Hill, and Ronald D. (Sherri) Lee; her grandchildren, Rodney Hester, Lisa Lusk, Darren and Stephan McDavid, Zachary Revels, Renee Stone, Tony Killebrew and Jordan, Taylor and Ryan Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Chester E. Seeman; her first husband, Charles Lee; her second husband, Walter Nall; her daughter, Linda Hester; her grandson, James “Jimmie” McDavid; her parents, Sidney Flatt and Mary Liza (nee Roberts) Flatt; her brothers, Cecil, Hubert, Loyd, and J.L. Flatt; and her sister, Roxie Lee.
Funeral Services for Dorothy J. Seeman will be Friday, March 10, 2023 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black (at Essington) Rd., Joliet, IL. Internment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
