Obituary of Santiago Herrera

Santiago Herrera Age 54, of Joliet, died suddenly, Wednesday, August 26, 2009 in Celaya,GTO, Mexico. Beloved husband of 27 years to Carmen (Garcia); Loving father of Armando (Irene) Herrera, Veronica (Jorge) Aguilar, Zulema, Karina and Brenda Herrera. Proud "Papa Santiago" of Armando Jr., Andrea and Noemi. Dear son of Eustolia (Perez) and the late Ricardo Herrera. Fond brother of Felimon, Juan, Teresa, Maria, Manuel and Alfonsina. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Santiago was employed as a pipefitter with Local # 597 for the past 29 years. He loved the game of baseball and also enjoyed biking, boxing and gardening. Funeral services for Santiago Herrera will be Thursday, September 3, 2009, 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
