Michael Thomas Bosko
Michael Thomas Bosko, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Loyola Medical Center, at the age of 56. Michael was born in Chicago, IL, on June 23, 1966. Michael grew up in Lemont and was a graduate of Lemont High School. He entered the trades after high school and has been a Union Brick Layer for the last 35 years.
Michael was a dedicated family man, and went above and beyond for his wife and daughters. He was a hard worker, and was generous with his time. He had a big heart, and would help anyone in need. Michael had a good sense of humor and a soft spot for animals. When he wasn’t cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, he enjoyed a good game of golf and working on home projects. His legacy will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him."
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Donna Marie (nee Gerace) Bosko; his twin daughters, Ashley and Alyssa Bosko; his parents, Thomas and Patricia (nee Murphy) Bosko; one brother, James Bosko; nieces and nephews, Amy and Daniel Bosko, Adam Bromberek, Stephanie Gerace, Don Atkison, and Eric Rudolph; his wife’s parents, Joseph and Barbara Gerace; brothers-in-law, Wesley Bromberek and Joseph (Marsha) Gerace; and his sister-in-law, Karen Rudolph.
He is preceded by his sister, Kimberly Bromberek.
A Memorial Gathering for Michael Thomas Bosko will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL, from 12:00 noon until the time of Service at 3:00 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded.
