Obituary of Christina M Seppi

Christina M. Seppi

Age 53, of Plainfield, Illinois passed from this life unexpectedly, early Wednesday morning, March 29, 2023.

Chris was born in Chicago and raised in New Lenox, IL where she graduated with the class of 1988 from Lincoln Way Central High School.

Surviving are her sons, Nic, Sam and Jon Frattini; her parents, Arlette (Snyder) and Lawrence Seppi; brother, Andrew (Kathleen) Seppi; and niece, Brooke Seppi.  Chris will also be missed by her birth mother, Bonnie Salins; half brother, Tim Newman; and former husband, James Frattini; as well as many friends.

Chris will be remembered fondly as a caring, outgoing woman who possessed a huge heart.  Her home was always open to all her kids’ friends.  She loved the Arts and saw many musicals-Hamilton her favorite! Music, another passion, was a big part of her life, especially the bands Duran Duran and Depeche Mode. She loved the beach, going to concerts, watching sports and when she was younger, trips to Disney World.

All friends and relatives are invited to join us for a Memorial Gathering, Wednesday April 5, 2023 from 3 – 7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet.  A prayer service and remembrances will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday and conclude the evening.  As it was Chris’s wish, cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
